I watched a documentary about the Meermin Slave Ship Mutiny on netflix the other day. It was pretty interesting.
The Dutch stole these men from their homeland, freed them from their chains on the ship, and then gave them weapons to clean. The Africans were like “wait…. we have weapons now”…. and killed them niggas.
